Unexpected present

You are God's present that I will cherish forever. I never expect that someone like you will come into my life. I will always be thankful that God gave me you. You're a friend, a critique, an enemy (sometimes), my best buddy and a lover.

You never left since the day we first met. You always make me feel special. Even if you're a thousand miles away. You are in my heart always and forever.

Let me share our story..

My high school batchmates and I decided to go to Boracay last May 2015 for an event called "LABORACAY". I booked my own flight and decided to fly alone. I took the Airasia flight and others took the Tiger Airlines. Same departure time but different planes.

One of my friends is from Australia. He's a Filipino. He's with his two other friends to take a vacation in the Philippines.

I didn't get the chance to be introduced to those 2 guy friends. I didn't even see them in NAIA Terminal 1 (while waiting for our delayed flight).

However, this one guy saw me and fell in love with me at first sight (LOL too assuming). Then, he asked my friends about me. (He said.)

When we arrived in Kalibo, we still didn't get the chance to be introduced to each other, I think. He just listened to our Tagalog conversation and stuff. He's quiet and observant.

On our way to Boracay, he poked me and asked if I speak French. (He heard that I work as a teacher for French students online.) I said, No. AND there's an awkward silence and other friends started teasing.

One of my friends said.. She's looking for the right guy and luckily, you are on her right. (whoa!) (It makes sense)

Our first night in the hotel was just a steady night. We had dinner, drank and played crazy games. Friends asked me to sit beside him. I didn't want to spoil the night so I did.

We went outside the hotel but some of our friends came with us. That's why we didn't get the chance to talk.

In the morning, he invited me to walk around and take pictures. We saw another friend and had coffee and drinks. (We still didn't get the chance to talk.)

We spent our 2nd night in the Epic Bar where and when he got very drunk and all. Friends asked me to look after him and I did.

We crossed our paths outside the bar and he held my hand. We walk and then suddenly, he collapsed (lol) (too drunk). I wiped his face and got him some water but unfortunately, he didn't appreciate it and he even asked me to leave him alone coz' he can do it on his own.

I felt upset and distance myself..

He said sorry and thank you the next day, I think. I asked for water, then he gave some and brought me noodles, too (that he said he cooked). Had my breakfast in bed. That was so sweet.

He said he will look after me that day and won't drink too much. He's a man of word. He didn't even flirt with other girls in the bar because he said, he's with me.  The sweetest.

Then he went back to Manila and I stayed for another day in Boracay.

He kept in touch with me through text and other social networking sites. We started exerting effort for each other. We went out when I arrived in Manila from Boracay.

We had massages, played, sang and had dinner together. I finally had a quality time with him. He went to my place and met my mom and sister.

Unfortunately, that was our last night together. :(

I gave him one of my favorite keychains, he did appreciate it. He's not hard to please. I'm lucky.

Then, he left and went back to Australia..

We started chatting and sending pictures/videos on Snapchat and decided to talk on Skype. The good thing is, Philippines and Perth have the same time. We don't have to adjust for it. Yey!

He's been consistent since day 1. I didn't have any problems with him. I got to know him well. We started to show our world to each other, online. He always makes me feel special, he finds time for me, sings for me and he knows when to make me smile and piss off.

He's a smart guy. I love learning new stuff with him. He's generous. He gives what he can give to his family. He's a good friend, a caring uncle, a great lover and an amazing person. That's why it's not difficult for me to fall in love with him.

I will always be thankful for God's unexpected present. I promise myself to keep this person in my life.

Always and forever.

#CebuYess A good friend went back home from Saudi, who's been there for a year. We decided to go to Cebu and booked a flight last October 2015. Everything was spontaneous, a DIY trip.  Air fare rates: January 20, 2016,  Wednesday Manila to Cebu  (Air Asia) 1,100 pesos January, 24, 2016,  Sunday   Cebu to Manila (Cebu Pacific)  1,280pesos Good thing we got some promotions from the airlines. Everything went well and arrived at the Mactan International Airport at around 0840. We took the white cab (outside the airport) going to the North terminal. The driver gave us tickets for the insurance. Cool!   We paid 170 pesos for the trip. It takes less than an hour to get there.  From the North terminal, we took a van going to Hagnay...

Taytay falls, Majayjay Laguna

A weekend getaway in Laguna. February 20, 2016 We visited one of the famous falls in Laguna. The Taytay falls in Majayjay. We went on a weekend that's why it's a bit crowded. It was a little difficult to find a nice spot to go camping. Nevertheless, it was a good experience. People often call it the Majayjay Falls, maybe because it's in Majayjay Laguna but actually its name is Taytay Falls. Its former name was The Imelda falls, named after the First lady of our late Pres. Ferdinand Marcos, Mrs. Imelda Marcos. She has financed the promotion of tourism of the place, that's why. The Taytay Falls It was a 3-4 hours (+ traffic jams) drive from Las Piñas City. We arrived at around 11AM, got our registration and paid 20 pesos for the entrance fee. It's better to bring your own tent, for you not to rent one. Since souvenir shops close at 5 in the afternoon, we bought some before going to the falls. You can also buy food and drinks near the entrance gate. Park...
