Weekend in paradise, Calaguas Island

Calaguas Island Calaguas Island is a paradise, for real. If you're planning to go there, get your bags, pack your stuff and move. Don't think twice. It's all worth it. Travel with friends or loved ones. It's a perfect place to relax, go kayaking, snorkeling, swimming, photo taking, trekking and island hopping. You can also play frisbee by the shore. I am pretty sure you will fall inlove with its breath-taking view and white sand. People are so accommodating and friendly as well. Make friends, eat more, travel harder and enjoy. -@iamakap @akpagunsan Vacation from January 8-10, 2016.  We traveled for about 8 hours by land and another 2 by water. It was a long ride but it was all worth it. Seeing the beautiful island makes you forget all the hassles you've been through all day. I swear! It is what it is in the pictures on social media. No filter, no photoshop, it's just all natural. Its beauty, view, water, sound, sand, air, people and everything.  Ca...

The day I stalk a friend

They have been together for a looooong time. They were so inlove. They traveled together. Spent Christmas and new year's eve together. They watched their favorite movies together, had dinners, took a lot of photos and posted them on Instagram. They were so close to each other's clan. I was so happy to see a friend, full of happiness. I envy them, yes, because they had each other. They had forever. BUT. Something happened.. The guy needed to go abroad, for work maybe. The girl needed to stay. They had that, "Long distance relationship" setup. They were still so in love. They video call each other, sent sweet messages and stuff. They were strong, they said. But after a few months.. The girl started posting "move on and painful" quotes with "People change"  caption on Instagram. I got curious. I was like, what was that? Was there a war or something? Then, I checked. My friend was very upset, sad and heart-broken. She started to drink al...

NORTE

My college friends and I went road tripping. From Mall of Asia (our meeting place) to Imus Cavite, then back to MOA. Went north. Caba, La Union, Vigan, Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte. Date: Night of Nov. 26th to Morning of Nov. 30th 2015. It was a fun-filled ride. Talks. Laughters. Stories. Songs. Picture takings. Food. Chikas. One of my friends drove the entire trip. It was hard, I know, but for us he did. That's why we're very thankful. Less expenses too. I bet it would be better if two of my friends have their licenses with them but unfortunately, they haven't. What I brought: -My baby sling bag (for my valuables and kikays) -one big shoulder bag for my clothes -sunblock -sunglasses -swimwear -rashguard -hygiene kit -towel -power bank with charger -monopod -pocket money (for souvenirs, food and activities) Day 1: Caba, La Union San Juan, La Union Vigan We arrived at my friend's rest house in Caba, La Union at around 5 in the morning. We just fi...
